BRI-SP: The Algeria connection
Part 9: A seemingly irrelevant announcement in the Algerian press may lead to the big revelation
Algeria was colonised by France since 1830, and became independent in 1962 after several years of a bloody war for independence.
Jean-Michel Trogneux was studying in Algiers at 18 years old, according to the declaration of Jean Trogneux in the military records (military service was compulsory for all male French subjects of 18 years or older) (Xavier Poussard’s request to view the records about Jean-Michel Trogneux’ military service was denied for reason of medical privacy).
This is only a year after the end of the war, when obviously French citizens would not leisurely go study or travel to Algeria, so this fact alone needs an explanation which we don’t have yet (remember that there is almost no public information about Jean-Michel Trogneux).
In December 2017, Emmanuel Macron plans to visit Algiers together with Brigitte.
In the days before the visit, Algerian press reports that the University of Algiers is renovating a wing and some gardens, because Brigitte will visit the place as she has studied there.
The news is published in the French press, and at that time, nobody questioned anything (it is only in 2021 that the issue of Jean-Michel Trogneux will go mainstream).
We have no trace that Brigitte Trogneux was ever in Algeria.
In the end, Emmanuel Macron goes to Algeria alone and limits his visit to a few hours, not visiting the University.
What is all this? Why is the Algerian press openly linking Brigitte Macron to Algiers, while we only know that Jean-Michel Trogneux lived there for some time?
It is clear that this lead needs further investigation: this might become additional proof.
